Well, I am officially 39 weeks pregnant today and as I type this new post, baby Rayah is moving sporadically and not to mention intensely in my belly! I can't believe that this pregnant ride is almost over for me. It has been quite a ride! Johnny and I cannot wait to meet our baby girl!
Just yesterday, my "preggo twin" who is Johnny's cousin's wife, gave birth to their third precious child Caleb! He is their first son and he is just perfect! We really look forward to meeting him in person. It's crazy because her due date was 4 days after mine. The arrival of their baby, made the arrival of ours become a more real realization!
This is our first child so we've got a brand new adventure awaiting us really soon. I really hope I don't go past my due date though. We're hoping that she actually comes on Valentine's Day which is also her Grandma's birthday and so fitting for her name! I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and everything seems to be progressing beautifully. The doc said that my body is definitely gearing up! I finally feel ready...well, I feel like our home is somewhat ready for her arrival. With the completion of her crib, her clothes and blankets finally washed and put away, and the house pretty much in order, I feel much better about bringing her home now compared to just a few weeks ago when most of our belongings were stacked in boxes in our living room. We just started officially moving in on I think January 15th so we have definitely been busy. Well, whenever that day comes, I'm sure it will be perfect! Please keep us in your prayers! Hopefully I will be posting again really soon with news about our new bundle of joy!!!!
